Corbett Douglas (Doug) Martin - was born in Huntsville, AL on October 11, 1956 and died on January 25, 2025 in Mobile, AL where he was a resident most of his life. Doug was loved and admired by his family and friends, who always enjoyed his extremely quick wit. You never knew what he was going to say. He loved nothing more than his children, grandchildren, and especially his wife Julie Ann Ishee Martin. Very few days went by in the 41 years he was married to Julie that he did not make her laugh, repeatedly. He is survived by Julie, his children Rebecca Ann, Jenifer Amy & James Richard Martin, his step-son Monty Taylor (Sandra Trahan), his grandchildren Christian Elizabeth Wilson, Alyssa Grace Fields, Douglas Ray Adams, three brothers Russell R Martin, Michael N Martin (Cindi) and Randall D Martin (Carla), sister-in-laws Peggy Foskett (Earle), Katie Baluyut and Jenifer Ishee and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard E Martin and Marguerite Bazor Martin, one sister-in-law Lee Martin and one brother-in-law Jimmy Ishee. A Celebration of his life will be held Tuesday January 28, 2025 at British Park from 3 pm to 5 pm.
