Contessa's obituary
Tess put a smile on everyone’s face. Her home was known as the place-to-be for decades. She always had two refrigerators and freezers packed with entrees and sweets ready for the next unexpected family member’s visit. Family was such a large part of Tess’s life.
In addition to family, she had an extended family of her own on her 2 ½ acre lot in the hills of Sonoma, the animals. Her garage was always full of 33-gallon bins of deer feed and bird seed. She would name each new fawn as they arrived and was able to identify each one, even years later. Tess always made a special pile of feed for her favorite underdog, Gimpy, to prevent the stronger deer from getting all of her food.
In lieu of flowers, allow Tess’s passion to continue, right in her own neighborhood, by donating to her favorite cause, Lyon Ranch (http://lyonranch.org/) where 75 underdog animals are protected and shared.
