Connie Gumm, 69, of Sidell, IL passed away peacefully on September 05, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Connie grew up in Danville Il. and moved to Sidell in 1981 with her husband and 2 children.  She worked in customer service for many years and  enjoyed watching movies, and her grandchildren .Connie was predeceased by both her parents Paul and Juanita Bright and 2 brothers Louis Bratton and Donald Bratton. She is survived by husband Walter Gumm; 2 children Billy (Amber Wilson) Gumm and Katrina  (Sean) George; and 8 grandchildren Baileigh Gumm, Parker Gumm, Dylan George, Emma George, Tyler Gumm,  Mackenzee Gumm, Aubrey Gumm and Macie Gumm; 3 sisters Janice(Jim) Evans, Darlene Bratton,  Paula Long and 1 brother Larry Bratton and several nieces and nephews.  Connie will be dearly missed. Connie requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Connie’s loved one to join us in celebrating their beautiful life at The Fire Barn in Sidell on Saturday September 24th from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm.
