Colton “Cole” Joseph Key, age 24, passed away on May 27, 2023. Born February 9, 1999 in Baton Rouge to Michelle Aubert and Lionel Key Jr.

His life was cut short by health challenges, but he left a lasting impression on many. He had a love and talent for music which he enjoyed sharing with others. His wit, charm, infectious smile and laughter will never be forgotten.

Cole is preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Aubert, father, Lionel Key, aunt, Judith Berthelot, and many grandparents and great grandparents.

He is survived by his siblings; Crystal Barbazon (Les), Chasity Johnstone (Kyle), Christian Key; bonus dad Mikey Barcia, girlfriend Crystal Leblanc, close friend Jude St. Claire, and numerous other family and friends who loved him.

The family wishes to thank Ochsner Medical Center staff, especially Colleen, RN for their care. A memorial will be held on June 29, 2023 at 6:30pm at The Rustic Room, 210 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, LA 70726.
