I have so many stories to share about our treasured Collin. Ones that still make my side ache in pain from laughing so hard. He was an integral part of my coming up in Sahuarita. A loyal friend who never ceased to be there for me many a time. After high school we stayed close and ended up getting into even more troubles and laughs together.
I fondly remember when Collin, Kevin, and I decided that submitting our own bootleg version of “Jackass” to the annual SHS talent show would win us the gold. We filmed it in the Tucson Mall on my dad’s 90’s camcorder and it prominently featured Collin falling into indoor garden plots and tripping over himself. Me laughing wildly behind the camera and Kevin not playing it cool at all. We didn’t win the talent show 😂
I remember him coming over for my dress up parties, getting amped on soda, and putting on sparkly clothes and hanging with us gals.
I remember when I lived with him & Kyle for a month before college started, and I prepared them a very bad meal of baked chicken and overly steamed broccoli. Collin thought I had serious cooking skills and raved at my talent! Whole heartedly 🥰
I remember sitting in the back of his ridiculously orange truck, shooting the shit, laughing at absolutely nothing, jokingly calling each other our favorite derogatory nickname and just vibing.
He was the friend who would hide under the covers and high pitch scream at the scary parts of Poltergeist with you.
He was the friend who would cannonball into the hot tub with you.
He was the one who screech up on those giant truck tires and demand you get in the car and go party with him.
He was an everlasting buddy and brother. Rest In Peace my beloved friend. Sending love to his family and all those who had the joy of knowing him and being around his vibrancy. Looking forward to kicking it with you on the next goofball cosmo-ride into the rainbow-sunset Collin 💜💜💜

Collin was always smiling. He was a great friend and part of our little tribe of dirt-jumpin' bmx riders. Never forget getting out of school and watching Collin drive a big orange truck through the desert towards our spot where we made our dirt jumps. We shoveled and shaped those jumps more than we actually jumped them, but those memories, I wouldn't trade for anything.
He was always there ready to help us try to build those dry hills into jumps. We were always filling up gallon milk jugs with water and running it out there in 100 degree heat.
Those times with Collin were the best times of my life. Adventurous, risk-taking young and carefree.
Collin embodied that spirit. I always knew he'd do amazing things in his life. Proud to know I knew him growing up in Sahuarita. He was a ray-of-light in this world.
Rest in power my man.

Love,

-Robbie
I met Collin when I started working AV at the Princess in Scottsdale. We were about 8 yrs age difference, him just 21 and me 29 give or take, but talked for a few mins and realized we were both from small towns in AZ and quickly became friends. He knew his job but still loved to have fun (understatement)and we did. We carpooled, many early mornings waking his ass up and late nights at Pranksters after a hard days work. I trusted him as the DJ for my wedding even though he was reluctant he came through and worked so hard to make that day right on his end of things. I left the AV world after 4 yrs and fell out of the loop with the crew, but we would text now and again and about a year and a half ago we finally caught up and had some pops at a bar. It was a quiet weeknight in a bar with just a couple customers and we caught up, talked, and brought life to that bar like we always used to, him better than me of course. Wierd thing is I was thinking I was headed to his side of town soon and I was hoping we could do it again, I got the news a few days later and it crushed me. We had so much damn fun, making work fun in those ballrooms, the office, the catwalk, golf cart rides on the property, running to get a bag to chief on, etc. I was so happy to see him traveling the world for his job and growing up getting a house. I know he had so many friends and family that will miss him and proud to say I knew him and I am definitely one of those. I will miss you my friend, put in a word for me up there because you know I need it after some of the hell we raised.
