Colleen Autumn Zahn-Sutterlin passed away on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 at the age of 67.

She was a loving mother of two children and wife of 42 years. Colleen was born on November 27th, 1954 in Syracuse, NY to Richard Zahn and Beverly (Williamson) Zahn. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Portland State University and Degree in Medical Technology from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1982. She married Chester Evan Sutterlin III on August 25th, 1979. They raised a son and daughter, Landon Evan Sutterlin and Autumn Laurel (Sutterlin) Gentry.

Colleen had a life long passion for exercise and healthy diet. She was a traveler and adventurer having climbed the Grand Teton in Wyoming and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. She visited every continent except Antarctica. She was an ecologist, environmentalist, and women's rights advocate and loved all living things... plants and animals. She was so very kind, compassionate, caring, loyal, truly courageous, and an avid defender of family and friends.

Colleen was preceded in death by her mother Beverley and her sister Tracey. She is survived by her father Richard, her sister Kathy, her children Landon and Autumn, and her husband Chet.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Robert Toale and Sons at Palms Memorial Gardens in Sarasota, FL on Saturday February 19th, 2022 at 12pm noon.
