Colleen's obituary

“On Friday, February 25, 2022 Colleen Bray, 21 of Greensburg, left this world too soon. Colleen was born February 2, 2001 to Larry & Amy Bray, both lifelong residents of Greensburg, IN. She graduated from Greensburg Community High School in 2019, where she was a fierce softball player and president of the FFA. Colleen was a fun-loving young woman, full of life. She had a keen sense of humor, which served to break down barriers and made others feel welcome. The way she interacted with her friends and the kindness she showed them is what drove them to be better people. She was a kind soul, who would help anyone who needed it. She loved nothing more than to be with her animals and make memories with those she held close. In 2018, she met her best friend in life, Kyle Drew of Connersville. The two were set to be married this October, 2022. Upon graduating from high school, Colleen went to the Grooming School of Indiana. It was here she discovered her passion: taking care of animals and serving others by helping them do the same. With a clear vision ahead of her of what she wanted to do in life, Colleen opened her own pet grooming business, “Wiggle Butts & Cuts”. She was so excited to see this new venture take off, and truly lived out the expression “If you love what you do for a living, then you will never ‘work’ another day in your life.” Despite being less than a year old, Colleen had made Wiggle Butts & Cuts a success. She had earned the respect and loyalty of a consistent, growing customer base, who had nothing but positive compliments to give. Colleen is survived by her parents, Larry & Amy Bray; fiancé, Kyle Drew; brother, Evan Bray; maternal grandparents, Bob and Pam Winkler; paternal grandparents, Marcia Bray and Larry Bray, Sr.; uncle, Jason (Amy) Bray; aunts, Amanda (Nate) Groth and Sheresa Collins; future in laws, Jerry and Connie Drew; future sister in law, Breanne Smith; her dogs, Bubbles, Huck, and Rosie; and many cousins.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 11:00 am with Pastor Jon Porter officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Colleen Bray Memorial Scholarship Fund. To leave online condolences, please visit www.gilliland-howe.com.”
