Colin's obituary

Colin Axle Kane Rumbold died tragically in a motorcycle accident on June 7, 2022 in San Francisco CA. Colin just had his 34th birthday on May 6. Growing up in the bay area, Colin enjoyed the diversity of different cultures and developed a deep interest in Asian especially Chinese culture. He had visited China several times, enjoyed studying overboard and teaching there. With a career goal of being an English teacher, later on he attained his Bachelor degree in Linguistics at UC Riverside. He worked hard and sent himself through school. With multiply job offers, Colin was ready to move to China and started his dream of teaching. Fortunately due to the pandemic this plan was delayed, he moved back to the bay area to spend some time with his family and friends before his departure to China.

Colin leaves behind his deeply devastated Mom and younger brother Zachariah from S.F., older sister Erin from S.F., and younger twin sister's Sooner from Tracy , and Sydney from Antioch. Colin also has his girlfriend Ada Juan Li recently of Oakland but from Ontario CA. also left devastated by his way too early departure. All of Colin's family left behind are his Auntie Sarah Rumbold of Placerville CA and cousin Jessica Rumbold of Alaska. Auntie T-Teresa Jacobs and uncle Thom Garcia of San Jose. Uncle Paul Jacobs of Manteca, Nieces Lily Ana Hale of Martinez and Kylani Vialau-Rumbold of Pacifica. He had many friends he loved dearly and was a bright shining light to all he came in contact with.

We are all left grateful for the precious time that we did get to spend with Colin but also there's a deep hole in our hearts missing him. If you can donate for Colin's memorial or send flower's symbolizing a loving farewell, we would very deeply appreciate it.

We will update with exact location and time for the Memorial within two weeks.
