I remember going up to Sacramento on the Schipperke, and jumping off the top into the the river below, and being pulled 30 feet away from the boat from the strong currents before even resurfacing, and having to swim as hard as we could back to the boat, only to do it over and over again. Great times, and countless more. From Padre games, Catalina trips, and one very memorable game of Catch Phrase one Christmas Eve, I'll never forget those. Miss you Colin, rest easy.

As a young teenager Colin had taken on a school fundraising effort. He hit up his aunts and uncles for projects he could work on to raise money. It had proven to be fairly easy and quite lucrative to date. Last on his list were Uncle Joel and Aunt Cathie. As we were in the middle of a home remodeling project we said “sure, we can find something for you to do” and agreed to terms. The next day he showed up where painting the living room and dining room were on the agenda. He learned quickly, worked hard and developed an appreciation for cathedral ceilings! When lunch rolled around on the third day he was quite tired and hungry. As he scarfed down his sandwich he confided “I thought I would be taking out papers and trash like I did for the others, but wow! This is like real work!” We had a good laugh and needless to say, he really earned his money. We were proud of his work and think he was too. It seems his school trip was successful and quite good fun. We miss you Colin, Rest In Peace. Love Uncle Joel and Aunt Cathie

We extend our most heart felt condolences to Kari and Dixon for their terrible loss. Colin was a wonderful friend to our son and family, always full of energy, good ideas and thoughtfulness. We have many fond memories of family outings, including this time Kari suggested taking the kids to Del Mar on the train. Kari and Dixon were such devoted, caring parents. We hope that you can remember all the good times with Colin and that time will ease your grief.

I am so devastated by the news of the loss of my friend Colin Miles Livingstone. He was one of my best friends since 7th grade and my first boyfriend. We dated from 8th grade until 11th grade. I got to know him so well, and on such a deep level. I feel so lucky to have so many wonderful memories. Colin was an energetic, fun, adventurous person. He truly was one of my best friends. Highlights were going to Catalina with Kari and Dixon, going to New York on our 8th grade trip, going to Benihana on his birthday every year, seeing The Rolling Stones together in concert, winning Homecoming Court together, and spending nights getting Santana's/swimming in his pool. I will miss you Colin and you will live in my heart forever. Thank you for sharing your life with me. I will always cherish time I spent with you! <3
My deepest sympathies go out to Kari and Dixon. You were both the center of Colin's world. He loved you deeply. I am so sad to miss the service but will be there in spirit, and will send my memories with someone to read! Love you both! Thank you for being my second family growing up; I am always here for you both! Lots of Love, Erica (Gallardo) Knowland
