My family's condolences go out to Colin's family and friends. The death of a loved one, especially a child can be unbearable. Death breaks into our lives with irresistible force and it robs us of those we hold dear. What has helped my family cope with our loss is one of the promises God has given all of us of a future reuniting with those we've lost here on earth where "death will be no more." Knowing we will see them again is what fills my family's heart with peace. Eze 37:13, Rev 21:4 May your family receive a measure of comfort. You are all in our thoughts.
Hey, JP here...never forget our time at Quinn's gym. My trying to keep up lifting with you. Wow...power..!!! We spoke many times by phone to help me learn the Columbus plan. I'll never forget your time invested in me.! I had hoped to be friends forever......Now I know that will be true.! I will be here for your family .! Love JP
Our trips to visit your home in Scottsdale will not be the same without Colinβs big heart mild disposition and huge beautiful smile. My fondest memory is our nighttime walk and swimming in the family pool. Watching Colin and Uncle Chuck interacting was always admirable and entertaining π
Oh man Iβm gonna miss him. I spent a lot of time at the Dumas house growing up. I would spend the night and we would watch his favorite Irish bomber movie, or his favorite tv show, Nash Bridges. We once got into a fight during a recess football game in elementary school and our dads had to come down. We were laughing about it 5 minutes after it happened, and we jokingly argued for 20 years who won. Itβs still in dispute...
My heart is broken for the Dumas family. Iβm going to miss him a lot.
One of my fondest personal memories was attending a Green Day and Blink 182 concert with both Colin and Michael. It was a great show that I still remember as one of the best Iβve been to, and I know Colin loved it too. We continued to talk over the years about punk rock music, and each new Green Day album that would come out. Colin will be missed, but like all of the great ones, never forgotten.
