Colin's obituary

Colin Allan was born on May 4, 1946 in Durban, South Africa, to the late Violet Allan and the late Seymour Allan. He passed away at age 74 on March 1, 2021 in Kettering, England. Colin attended Grosvenor Boys' High in Durban. He was in the civil cabling industry until retiring in 2012 when he moved to Texas with his wife. Colin was the husband of Teresa O'Neill Allan. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tudor, Billy and Mickey; and sisters, Doreen Meyer and Denise Dick. Colin is survived by his sons, Kenneth, Sean and Dean; brothers, Gerald, Leslie and Eddie; sisters, Eleanor Van Rensburg, Margaret Oosthuizen, Maureen Dick and Dawn Haigh and grandchildren, Warren Glasgow-Allan, Tamlyn Allan, Torreya Allan, Colwin Allan, Josiah Allan and Levi Allan. He was a long distance runner, enjoyed his dog, Benji, loved baking and watching his children's and grandchildren's successes in school and sports. He was an usher and helped with yard sales for missions at his church in Dallas. He loved volunteering at the food bank and with his grandchildren's schools. If you knew Colin, then it was guaranteed he had made you shepherd's pie, curry and pasta! He was a friend to all. As a memorial to Colin, we ask that donations be made to the missions department at Redeemer Bible Church in Dallas, TX. https://www.redeemerbiblechur…
