To my Allan family,

Words won't ever take your pain away, all I can offer is a praying hand and comfort in the thought that Gran and uncle Colin are embracing each other in a spiritual reunion. They loved each other deeply and they are standing together opening their angel wings gracefully to help you heal.
Sending all my love
Jen xx
Dear Aunty Teresa Kenneth Sean and Dean, our thoughts have been with you over the past few weeks. May Uncle Colin rest peacefully, I know granny Daisy would have met him with open arms and her beautiful smile at heavens gates. She loved Colin very dearly. All our love and prayers Warren Kelly Hannah and James McDaniel
I had the opportunity to work with Colin at Whiterock Farmer's Market, and I can most honestly say that he was an absolutely exemplary man. His love of God was clearly evident to me every time I got to see him. He was gentle, hilarious, and hard-working. I remember many times working the farmer's market with him during hot summers. I am only 20 and would often have to sit down and take small breaks, asking him if he would like to sit as well. "No thanks," he would always say, "I will stand." He was incredibly fortuitous and I can still hear him talking about the love he held for his family. We all know you are laughing with God now, Colin. Teresa, my heart and prayers go out to you.

We are so saddened by the untimely loss of Colin and the difficult last weeks of his life. He was always ready to help others and loved his family dearly. He will be sorely missed by all whose life he was a part of and especially by his family. May he truly rest in peace knowing that he always did his best and that his love for others was his greatest gift which he shared so generously. Our prayers go out to Teresa, Kenneth, Sean and Dean for the loss of their beloved husband and father. Rose, Mike, Aimee and Jessica.

Tony Martin. Colin and my days at Bluff Athletics Club hold very happy memories. I was so impressed and in awe that Colin actually completed the Washi 100 miler. Fantastic feat. We shared many running stories.
Violet Billy Robinson and Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you over the loss of darling Colin. He will always be remembered for his true commitment to your and extended family. The loving care you took of our mother Daisy will always be remembered.
Thank you Colin for all your kindness to me and my family especially to our darling Daisy. You were her favorite son in law. She loved you dearly.

Thank you uncle Colin for all the amazing times I spent with you and your family in the late 70s and early 80s. Thank you for my first real bicycle (Dean's old red racing bike after he upgraded to a BMX) the box-load of scalextric tracks that i used to build Silverstone and La mans, trips to the beach where we were allowed to swim unsupervised in the shorebreak and which helped spawn my lifelong love of the ocean, the Atari console that we spent one whole summer playing on and helped spawn my lifelong love of computing, introducing me to the Beatles (red and blue album) which helped spawn my lifelong love of music, caring so lovingly for gran (especially at the end), and all the hilarious dog videos that you shared on facebook with Jo-ann (the Olive and Mable ones are still favourites). You were so kind. I am indescribably saddened that you did not make it. Love Darren
Dear Theresa, Sean, Dean and Kenneth. I’m so sorry for your terrible loss. I didn’t know your Dad Colin well but loved his love of dogs and animals and life.
