I met Colette In Norfolk, Virginia at a performing arts school are we graduated together. She moved to Los Angeles even though our teacher told us not to because multiple don’t become famous, but Colette insisted that we move and she did. I will send her money to find a place and I told her I would move with her once my lease was up and I did afraid to fly. I caught a bus took five days to Los Angeles. She pick me up from the Greyhound bus station. she had a friend named ghost from New York. They moved to LA with us my girlfriend back in Virginia used to call Colettes phone because I didn’t have a phone yet to talk to Me and Colette could not stand her voice because she had a weird accent lol eventually move back to Virginia to be with her and we made a baby started a family. I told Colette that I would be back to Los Angeles and I left my head shots since they cost so much money as a way to convince Colette that I would be back. But I never made it back due to having a family. I have looked for her for years on social media, never being able to find her until now, her parents were so nice and kind when I first got there they invited me over for dinner for Christmas. Bought me a gift and everything. Big part of me wish I had never left Los Angeles. I miss her spicy food. She’s the one that got me like in spicy food to this very day remember being in that little studio apartment with her and her friend ghost, and all the friends we made some girl named jubi I still remember too! We all were kids like 19-21 yrs old! We were out there going for what we want it off Santa Monica and western Boulevard right in Hollywood? I remember I used to do my auditions and I would be out all night and she would call me when I finally got a phone asking me. When are you coming home? Are you OK? Rest in peace MOFUN is what I called you. ❤️

REMI, Colette’s little brother received his bachelor degree in theatre 🥳🏆✨ I believe Colette was around 19years old when Remi was born. She had a hard time transitioning from only child Lol! One of her East Coast Friends had a baby at the time so she felt like Remi could have been her baby. Needless to say, Colette loved Remi to pieces. I met Remi when he was 7years old. I spent a lot of physical time with Colette. I’ve been to every house her parents have moved to. I’ve gotten the opportunity to watch Remi bloom into an awesome young man. Let’s celebrate his accomplishment 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Im still sad so sorry to hear about my sisters passing. She was such a fun loving person. The stories we had for days aren’t lost…. Miss u so much girl❤️

My heart aches for the family.  I will continue to keep her memory alive. I'm going to miss her coming to spend every summer with me. I will miss our daily chats on and offline.  Her laughter and smile  was so contagious ...she would light up a room. I  miss you so much sis but I know I will see you again. ❤️

This is Colette’s little girl “Ella Bella” short for Cinderella. I call her niecy poo, Ella acknowledged me as her Auntie. I think Ella is 13 years old now. How Colette got Ella is a hilarious story. Colette is the Nubian version of “I Love Lucy” We all have thee most hysterical (You can’t make this ish up) stories about Colette. That’s precisely why we all have a “WHO” void. Meaning we’re all asking God WHO? Who are we going to call about certain things? WHO is gonna take trips with us? WHO is gonna take risk with us? Who is going to create with us? So many Who’s, Who Who Who… Colette was that “Who” for all of us in a different way. No matter what happened, we always reconnected. So God, respectfully we ask you, WHO? And wrap your arms around her Mother God, squeeze real tight.

Whenever I got invited to various events I took Colette with me if she was available. This was 12years ago. She was like OMG the last time I showed her this photo because we were struggling Lol! And Colette said, “We look rough” Hahahaaaaaa (Insert her giggle / laugh). We we’re doing ok, but LA is a different beast and we grinded through the mud a lot together. Things weren’t always so glamorous however we had a GOOD TIME despite the hardships! In all honesty Colette would tell us to turn up and KEEP GOING! Keep rising!!! I think we’re all messed up heartbroken right now. Every single one of Colette’s Friends were Sister-Friends and had a unique relationship with her. Oooooh the memories 🥹
