My daddy went to his Heavenly home on 23 December 2024. My heart is shattered, but I'm so glad he is no longer suffering. I'm thankful I was able to say goodbye and that I will see him again one day in heaven.

My dad was calm, methodical, and patient. He didn't always say too much, but what he did say mattered. I learned to fish, bowl, and throw a punch from him. We loved singing Chantilly Lace and Hit the Road Jack together on car rides. Every night as a kid he would say prayers with me and then say, "Goodnight my Princess," and I would reply, "Goodnight my King."

I love you daddy forever and always. One last time, "Goodnight my King."

Clyde Paul Williamson, 76, went to his Heavenly home on Monday December 23, 2024 at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital in Troy, MI. He was born on January 6, 1948 in Detroit, MI to his loving father, Jesse Williamson, and large extended family. He married Virginia A. Heller on April 19, 1974 in Birmingham, MI.
