Clyde's obituary
In loving memory of Clyde Swaim who was born on February 6 1940, and passed away on July 23, 2025. A man of great heart and character, Clyde will be fondly remembered for his corny jokes, his love for taking pictures of his family and flowers, his dedication to looking up family history, his passion for watching Westerns and Horror movies, and he loved telling the stories of his time in the Air Force. His warm-hearted nature touched everyone he met.
Clyde is survived by his children; Kimberly Swaim, Robert Swaim, James Swaim and as well as his son-in-law, Doug Swaim. His family legacy also includes his loving daughter-in-laws, Brenda and Linda Swaim.
Clyde was blessed with several grandchildren who brought enormous joy to his life; Christopher Johnson, Dustin Shimakawa, Justin Swaim, Garrett Swaim, Josiah Swaim, Dalton Swaim and his granddaughters Alexandra Swaim, Madison Swaim, and Chantelle Hall.
He also leaves behind his brother Dennis Swaim and his sister-in-law, Debbie Swaim along with nephews and nieces. Clyde was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Swaim, his parents, Clyde and Lillian Swaim, and his brother, Mike Swaim. His memory will continue to inspire, guide and enrich those he has left behind.
The burial for Clyde will be held on September 19, 2025, at 12:40 PM at Veterans Memorial Park, 1650 Buchanan Blvd. Boulder City NV. In honoring his memory, everyone is encouraged to enjoy the many different foods he used to enjoy and remember his love for his favorite TV shows, Westerns, and Horror.
Watching his family, especially his grandchildren, was one of Clyde's favorite pastimes was watching his grandchildren perform, whether it was dance, theater or sports. His love for his family was endless, a trait that will forever be remembered by every life he touched.
Clyde Swaim was indeed a great father with a warm heart who loved his family. His absence will be keenly felt, but his loving memory will forever be imprinted on the hearts of his family and friends.
