Clinton Smith, 86, of Chesapeake, VA, peacefully passed away on December 13, 2022 after a serious battle with cancer.

Born in Ivor to John, his father was a wise boy. Clinton was fiercely passionate about church from the start and dedicated his life to both his pursuit of God and his family.

After he graduated, Clinton landed his first job as a welder. This kickstarted a career in welding. In 1953 Clinton met his wife, Mary and went on to have 11 children. Clinton put family first, always, and was a dedicated father. His children went on to pursue careers in being a pastor.

Clinton was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family.

Clinton was also a passionate reading and enthusiast. He spent most of his retirement praying and studying God.
Clinton was predeceased by 11 kids and leaves behind a few to name. No services will be held at this time and the family requests no donations or flowers be sent.
