Tommy's obituary
Clinton “Tommy” Cooke 88, of Paterson New Jersey, passed away on January 15, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.
Tommy was born on July 7, 1934, to father Kenneth Cooke and mother Constance Lazarus in Somerton, St. James, Jamaica, West Indies.
In 1954 Tommy met Beverly Russell in Falmouth Jamaica. The two got married in 1955. Together, Tommy and Beverly went on to have four children -- Gary, Hillary, David and Robert.
He began his career as a Fireman in Jamaica, and after migrating to the United States in 1972, he worked for Chrysler Corporation, After 10 years, he opened his own Towing and Repair business in South Hackensack, New Jersey where he worked until he retired.
Tommy was predeceased by his father Kenneth and mother Constance. He is survived by his wife Beverly, four children, Gary, Hillary, David and Robert; a son-in-law, three daughter-in-laws, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren as well as his brother David, Faye and sister Blueth “Bibs” Rampasard.
