Clint Metz, of Bradenton, FL, passed away unexpectedly on July 09, 2022.  He was only 30 years old.  Our family is devasted by this loss. Clint was born on September 19, 1991 in Hinsdale, Illinois to parents Colleen Murphy and Steven Metz.

Clint grew up in Downers Gove, Illinois and later Chesterton, Indiana where he graduated from high school.  After high school, Clint lived in Boulder, Colorado working a variety of jobs, enjoying spending time in the mountains and the thrill of meeting new people from many different areas of the country.  Clint eventually returned to Chesterton from Colorado and worked while attending Ivy Technical Community College.  He was then accepted into and attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.  Clint most recently lived in Bradenton, Florida and completed professional coursework while obtaining a Real Estate Appraisal Trainee License from the State of Florida.  Above all, Clint loved being in the company of his family and many friends.  He was a sensitive and caring man who could easily be brought to tears.  He is greatly missed by many as a caring son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend.     

 In lieu of flowers, our family asks that a memorial donation be made in Clint's name to: Reading is Fundamental (www.rif.org).  Clint had demonstrated an interest in supporting childhood education by providing financial donations to elementary school student reading programs.
