In lieu of flowers

Please consider a contribution to Clifford West Memorial Fund.

Background

Clifford loved young people. Circa 1996, he founded the Christian Skate Night at Joyland Skate Center in Cabot, AR, as an activity resource for small church youth groups.

As the years passed, the numbers of teens that attended grew into the hundreds. Eventually, the free skate night event evolved into its own inclusive ministry spanning across denominations. The need for new Bibles for these youth became apparent, so Clifford and his family covered the costs of these Bibles. They continued this tradition for years until he became very ill in 2018, at which point, Brian and Delana Knight (owners of the Joyland Skate Center) picked up the mantle.

This memorial is an opportunity for us to continue his legacy by gifting Bibles to the Christian Skate Night attendees. The average Bible costs $15, and the Knights give out an average of 48 Bibles every month. Please consider a donation to this fund in lieu of flowers.
