I knew Cliff as a colleague in the Davenport Schools, and Sarah too! Cliff was just the nicest person, always a joy to be around. And how he loved art, teaching and sharing it. I will always remember him with delight and fondness. I send his family my heartfelt sympathy.  Sue Grove

Coussen Family, so sorry for your loss. Just read about it today in the QC Times.

I live out in Seattle now and have for the last 40 years with my wife Janice. I come back to visit my Mom, Donna Anderson and family usually every summer about now. I run into Tom on occasion and catch up a bit. I always drive the old "Greenwood" road and think back fondly of baleing hay at the Coussens, Your Mom Alma cooking, and her wonderful laugh along with all of you going to St. Johns every Sunday, we all seemed very close on that road. Clifford will be missed by all of you so very much and please know our prayers are with you.

Warmly, Jay Anderson

This is Clifford's cousin Jeany. I have lovely memories of visiting Uncle Remy's and Aunt Alma's farm when we were children. Everyone was so good-humored and friendly. Clifford was closest to me in age and shared an interest in art. We spent happy hours carving shapes out of Ivory soap bars, and one time Cliff took me seining in the creek, pointing out all the critters, which I absolutely loved. What a wonderful person even as a young boy. I can still see his happy smile.

Cliff's family, please accept Paul's and my deep condolences on this sad news. Cousin Clifford, rest in peace.

Aloha, Sadly in your youth don’t realize the profound impact someone can have on you until times like this. He was the most patient and caring teacher I think I ever had! His art class was a place to escape the stress of being a teenager. We were able to be ourselves in a creative and relaxed atmosphere. When dealing with my children I try to be Coussens !

I’m so saddened to hear this.  Cliff was a wonderful man, with his endearing chuckle!  I hope you are OK, Sarah.

Our deepest sympathies to you Sarah and family.  Also all the family of Coussens’s.  He is with all the angels now, he has his “wings”.  So much fun to be around them at family celebrations❣️🙏🙏   Our prayers are with you all
