Cletus's obituary
Cletus Samuelson, 69, of Ellensburg WA, passed away suddenly on February 19, 2023 in Whitefish Montana. Cletus was born on Jan 5th 1954 to Keith and Eileen Samuelson in Denver Colorado. Shortly after living in Denver his family moved to Ellensburg. During his life in high school he did a lot with FFA and 4-h and continued that with his own children. After graduating from Ellensburg High School in 1972, he was a man of many trades but ultimately chose welding as his lifes work. In 1986, he met Jill Samuelson, and they wed in 1988, going on to have two children, Katielee and Cole.
Cletus was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Cletus was also passionate about hunting, fishing and camping and could often be found with any one of his grandkids.
Anyone who knew Cletus knew that he was the most loving son, brother, father, husband, friend and mentor a family could ask for. Cletus was predeceased by his mother Eileen and father Keith as well as his younger sister Susan. He is survived by Katie and Andrew and their 6 kids. Cole and Courtney and their three kids. The mother to his children Jill Samuelson. His sister Diann and brothers Curtis and Edward, as well as his life companion Miriam and her family.
There will be a graveside service for family members as well as a big country celebration of life to be held at a later date. Details to be announced.
