Clem's obituary
Clement "Clem" Larson, a beloved husband, father, and friend, departed this life on June 6, 2025. Born on August 26, 1943, Clem will forever be remembered for his kindness, generous spirit, and his unforgettable sense of humor.
Quiet but witty, Clem had a unique way of lighting up any room he entered. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke, it was always with purpose and often with a dash of humor. A lover of cooking and shared meals, he was famous for his special pancake recipe, made unforgettable by his liberal use of bacon grease.
One of Clem's greatest accomplishments was his long-standing career as a truck driver, a profession he pursued until his retirement in 1999. He was a man of the road, but he always carried his love for his family and friends close to his heart. He loved to help others and always made himself available when asked. His legacy, defined by kindness, generosity, and a love for joking around, will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
In his youth, Clem found joy in racing motorcycles and dragster cars and maintained an enduring love for the great outdoors. He was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed fixing a motor while drinking a beer. He loved fishing with friends, camping, and spending time at the cabin with family. These were the simple pleasures that truly defined him. Preceded in death by his mother, Melva Larson, father, Lloyd Larson, his brother, Wayne (Linda) Larson, his sister, Linda (Rick) Balmer and his son, Rick (Kathy) Larson. Clem is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Larson, his children, Kenn Larson, James (Anna) Larson, his stepchildren, Tammy Salmonson, Dianna (Joe) Gadbois, Jon Wright, Leslie (Mike) Hatzenbeller, Steven (Deanna) Wright, Karla (Shane) Opatz, fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, his brother Charlie (Nancy) Larson, his brother Larry (Leah) Larson, and many nieces and nephews.
