Clayton's obituary
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Clayton Brogdon, a man of remarkable spirit, humor, and generosity. Clayton was born on the 5th of May, 1970, and he peacefully left us on the 25th of September, 2023.
Clayton was predeceased by his beloved parents, Meredith Graham and Albert Brogdon. He is survived by his loving wife, Casey Brogdon, his cherished children, Tory Raymond and Jace Brogdon, his caring siblings, Gossette Ray and Sean Brogdon.
Being a proud alumni of California State University, Bakersfield, from where he graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in English, Clayton was a man of diverse interests and accomplishments. He had an affinity for Italian food, iced tea, and beer. A fan of Aerosmith, he was also fond of the film Full Metal Jacket and enjoyed supporting the Los Angeles Rams. In his leisure time, Clayton loved riding his motorcycle, building end tables, and most of all, fishing.
A man of many hobbies, Clayton also had a penchant for Football, and running. He had an adoration for performances such as Hamilton, and his favorite vacation spot was undoubtedly Nantucket Island. Amongst the local spots, TGI Friday's held a special place in his heart.
Described by those who loved him as having a great sense of humor and an unfailingly positive outlook on life, Clayton devoted himself to causes such as the ASPCA. His favorite color, reflective of his steady and calm nature, was blue.
Above all else, Clayton will be remembered for his kind, patient demeanor and his unyielding generosity. As he often shared the lesson, "Life is short, live it to the fullest", his legacy will indeed be one of kindness and generosity. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A private memorial service is scheduled for October 14th, 2023 at 10 am.
