Update from Feb. 14, 2025

Today, February 14th, I was informed that the town of Vienna has installed the memorial bench. It is on the connecting pathway between Mill Street and Battle Street, right near the Vienna community center, under a willow tree. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

A memorial bench will be placed near the Vienna Community Center in the near future. We hope once the snow has subsided. Thank you for your contributions.

Claus Eberhard Walther, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2024, at the age of 93. We had just spent a fun and eventful week together as a whole family in San Diego, California, for the holidays in December. Claus loved the scenery, flowers, expansiveness of the area, and enjoyed being all together, especially with his grandson. We will always be grateful for that …
