Claudia's obituary
Claudia was born on December 13th, 1924 to Andrew & Rosetta in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Her mother mother has Grenadian, Venezuelan and Scottish Ancestry and her father has British ancestry. She was the oldest, of three children. Claudia eventually in 1948 she meet George Garcia at a party they saw each other two more times and they started to see each other and in 1954 they got married the reason why they waited is because Claudia parents wanted her to be 29 to 30 years old and they later had four children and in 1959 Claudia and her children and her husband and mother and father moved to Brooklyn New York. Sadly in 1967 George died from a Stroke and that had a massive affect on her children and her. In 1972 she retired from being a nurse from 26 years. Before Claudia moved to Rosedale Queens New York in 2003 she kept on moving back from Trinidad to America back and forth from 1978 to 2000. Claudia started to have health problems when she was starting to lose her memory and she went to the doctor and the doctor diagnosis her with Alzheimer's disease and things got worse when the doctor diagnosis her with Colon Cancer and sadly after two years she died. A celebration of her life will take place starting Friday January 1 starting with a Wake from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Paul Lane Funeral Home, Inc. in Jamaica New York followed the next day a funeral will take place from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at St. Philips Episcopal /Anglican Church and after the funeral she will be lie to rest at The Evergreen Cemetery on January 2 Saturday.
