Dearest Claudette,
God truly blessed us when you came into our lives! Dan and I will miss you so. We had such great family gatherings, laughs and conversations.
One of mine and your frequent conversations was that we were both so grateful to have the kids in our lives. You would always tell me how much you appreciated that I would “share the kids” with you. I would always respond with how “grateful and blessed” I was that they had you in their lives. I’m forever grateful for the love and kindness you showed and gave to all my children and grandchildren. This is such a sad time for all of them and they are grieving for you. And there are so many! Frank, Christine, Antonio, Kendall, Renzo, Kevin, Blanca, Esteban, Michelle, Jason, Zoe, Ali, Tyler, Quorra, Leela, Isaiah and Ed. Then there is my dad and Kandy. And my dear family friend, Niki. You took such loving care of her. Tell her hello and that I miss her too. Then there are all the friends and extended families of the kids that you touched with your love Claudette. They too have expressed their sadness and that they will miss your laughter and love.
As I’m writing this, we are having a huge snowstorm up in the mountains. I think it’s probably snowing at your old house too! This cold unusual storm is to last on into tomorrow, the day for your memorial at church. Why do I think you may have had something to do with this! Haha!
Grateful thanks Claudette for sharing your knowledge of the bible. A true blessing for me.
I’m sad that we can’t celebrate the 2024 elections together. However, I know you’ll be here in spirit. Pull some strings up there if you can!
Say hi to The Babe!
Dan says thank you for your love and rice pudding!
There are so many things I want to tell you and thank you for. I didn’t think this would be it, the time for you to leave us…. Somehow, someway, you always managed to pull through the pain and suffering you endured throughout your life. And when you’d get home, we would all be relieved that you made it, again. Sadly, this time was different. Your poor little body couldn’t take anymore, and God wanted you back. You were always his to begin with and now you are in his loving arms again. Rest in Peace my friend. I will see you at the gate! May God Bless you!
Lots of Love from your grateful friend,
Roberta
