Claude "Preston" North passed away November 29, 2021 in Boise, Idaho at his home.  Preston was born October 8, 1946 in Jonesboro,  Arkansas to Claude Wesley North and Thelma Nina (Walker) North.  Preston graduated from Western High School, Las Vegas, Nevada, Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, Oklahoma and Golden Gate Theological Seminary, Mill Valley, California.  Preston was in ministry with Baptist churches for 46 years.  He pastored in Asher, Oklahoma, San Tomas Baptist Church, Campbell, California, Glacier View Baptist Church, Browning, Montana, he was a Director of Missions in North Dakota, then finally at Mountain View Baptist Church, Lake Isabella, California retiring in 2013.  Preston and Pat moved to Boise, Idaho in 2016.  He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patsy (Pat) North (Miller) and daughters Kendra Lowry (Cleveland, Ohio) and Sharon Wilborn (Meridian, Idaho) four grandchildren, Nathan Lowry (Jacksonville, NC) Jamie Lowry (Ohio), Elani Wilborn and David Wilborn (Idaho), brother Floyd North (El Paso, Texas) and Kaye Irby (Las Vegas, Nevada).
