Mr. Claude Alton Davis, known as BB “Bird Brain” Davis, was born January 21, 1936 in Shreveport, LA to the late Will & Allie Davis. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers: Jimmy Davis, Boyd (Hattie) Davis, Walter Davis, Curtis Davis Jr., Roosevelt Uma Davis, and James Butch Davis, and 2 sisters: Louise Pinkie Blackwell and Artie Mae Grisby.

He attended Booker T. Washington High School and met the love of his life, Leola Carter Davis.
He was a faithful member of the Lakeside Baptist Church of Shreveport, serving as a Deacon and Sunday teacher until he transitioned to Gables at Spring Lake Assisted Living.
Claude “BB” Bird Brain Davis left an incredible impact on the Ark-La-Tex community as a disc jockey for KOKA and KVKI radio stations. He later retired from Willis Knighton Hospital as a security officer.
January 15, 1954, he united in Holy Matrimony with Leola Carter Davis, who later passed October 23, 2017. To this union three children were born, Linda Davis and two who preceded him in death: Ruth Maxine Davis and Claude Davis, Jr.
He departed this life on Monday, May 23, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospice Care.

Remaining to cherish her memory and carry on his legacy:
One daughter: Linda Davis of Shreveport, LA, one grandson: Christopher Presley of Miami, FL, one granddaughter: Krystal Mack of Shreveport, LA; five great-grandchildren; A host of other relatives and friends.
