Background
Claude "BB" Bird Brain Davis was a Living Legend in the Ark-La-Tex area for years as a radio disc jockey on KOKA and KVKI radio stations in Shreveport, LA. His impact on music and community impacted lives for many decades. He passed away on Sunday May 23, 2021
KOKA was Shreveport's first black owned and operated radio station and where many locals got their first exposure to Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Gospel, Soul and Funk.
The family is raising money for a scholarship fund in BB Davis's honor as a music legend and his daughter Linda Davis, who recently retired as an award winning music educator in Mississippi and Louisiana
Donations go to fund post secondary education scholarships
for students.
