Claud Bell
ORANGEVILLE-Our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother and friend, Claud A. Bell, age 87, passed away peacefully at the Emery Care and Rehabilitation in Ferron on November 29, 2022
He was born December 15, 1932 in Orangeville, Utah to Harold and Fay Stilson Bell. Married Janett Jensen on April 12, 1952 in Castle Dale, Utah; she died November 20, 2013.
Claud was a lifelong resident of Orangeville who enjoyed operating road equipment and coal mining. He had a great love for the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and traveling to Oregon for the winter where he loved fishing the Columbia River with his wife. Claud loved gardening and sharing his bounty with everyone. He will be dearly missed by his family and many longtime friends.
Survived by his children, Gerald (Pam) Bell, Tooele, Von (Shirlee) Bell, Orangeville, Cindy (Jerry) Oveson, Cleveland, Teresa (Brian) Mooney, Springville, Robert (Bobbirose) Bell, Emery; daughter-in-law, Susan Flynn, Elko, NV.; in- laws, Roger (Susan) Jensen, Castle Dale, 18 grandchildren and many loving great and great-great-grandchildren; best friend, Lavoy Hardee.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janett; son, Howard; granddaughter; two great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth (Carol), George (Ann), Thomas (Margaret); sister, Bonnie (Keith) Rasmussen; sister-in-law, Maurine (Allen) Hansen; brother-in-law, Bertly (Thelma) Jensen.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Emery County Care and Rehab Center for their loving care for the past two years.
