Bill Robinson

As Carroll O'Connor said in a public service announcement more than twenty-five years ago "Get between the drugs and your kids in anyway you can, if you want your kids to live"!
We lost Clark to a Chinese counterfeit M30 pill that contained a lethal dose of fentanyl.
We simply didn't understand what compelled him to use the drug or what we could have done to help him. After seeming to be in control of whatever drugs he was taking for more than 15 years, in the last few months of his life we saw a seizure, a few episodes where his speech was slurred and appeared to be involuntarily swinging his right arm and upper body, and an emotional meltdown. I believe that he was taking a drug that put him into deep stupor followed by a deep sleep.
After we lost him, I thought of so many things that we could have but didn't do.
I know that we don't get to decide who comes, who stays, and who has to go, but had we heeded Carroll O'Connor's message, Clark may have survived?
