Clarence's obituary

Clarence Johnson, Junior began his earthly journey on June 22, 1956 and after living a life of love, family, and togetherness, transitioned to his heavenly home at age 66, on April 30, 2023. Clarence, Junior was the son of Helen Holland Johnson and the late Clarence Johnson, Senior of Killona, Louisiana. He was the eldest of their union of 8 children. Clarence received Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age and was baptized by the late Reverend James Powell, Sr. He was educated in St. Charles Parish Public Schools. He was married to the late Laura Dent Johnson in which their union produced 2 children, Ciara and Joshua.

Clarence, or simply just “Junior” as many would call him, was a truck driver for over 20 years. He loved to fish and will be remembered for being a kind, loving person to all he encountered.

He leaves to cherish all his loving memories to his mother, Helen H. Johnson, children, Ciara and Joshua, his siblings, Oville, Donna (Hebert), Cornell, Joyce, Karen, and Glyndon (Josephine) and a host of nieces, nephews, other close relatives, and devoted friends. Clarence, Junior was proceeded in death by his wife, Laura Dent Johnson, his father, Clarence Johnson, Senior, and his brother, Russell Johnson.

The immediate family will hold a private ceremony on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 10AM at the Jones Memorial Funeral Home in Luling, Louisiana.
