We will miss Clare very much.

Three Clare fond memories.

1. When we moved in, after a few weeks, Clare approached me while I was moving the garbage bins to explain in her no-nonsense, beautiful British accent, "There is something called recycling, you know..." - That was the start of 28-plus years of wonderful neighborly interactions that grew into enormous respect and friendship.

2. "It's me. Shut up Wallace!"  - Clare would shout out from her garden to reassure our dog that there was no danger and he could stop his deep scary (not) barking.

3. Opening her house and garden always, with grace and friendship, to host neighborhood events. Thank you so much, Clare, for all you brought to our little Elmwood neighborhood community.

Love

Villas-Boas Family

PS.  Wallace already welcomed you, barking happily, I am sure, when you met again.
