It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Clara "Gladys" Richards, a gentle soul known fondly as Gladys, but preferring Clara. Born on March 27, 1968, Clara left us too soon on August 12, 2025. A beacon of happiness and politeness, Clara touched the lives of many and will be sorely missed.

Clara is predeceased by a host of beloved family members. They find solace in the arms of their mother, Hattie Mae Richards, their father, Jim Richards, their dear son, Danny Richards, their devoted daughter-in-law, Sabrina Richards, their brother, Albert Richards, and their cherished son-in-law, Ferrell Williams.

In the midst of our sorrow, we find comfort in the knowledge that Clara's legacy is carried on by the loved ones they left behind. Clara is survived by their brother, Steve Richards, and their sisters, Thelma Owens, Jimmie Lee Gilmore, Lucy Walker, and Elizabeth Richards. Their memory continues to live through their son, David Richards, their daughters Virginia Williams, Felicia Caple, and Hattie Richards, and their step-son, Anthony Lugman.

Clara's remarkable spirit, their polite demeanor, and their contagious happiness will never be forgotten. Their impact on those they loved remains immeasurable. We celebrate Clara's life and the love they shared, even as we mourn their departure. Rest in peace, Clara "Gladys" Richards, until we meet again.
