Clara's obituary
Clara Hass
September 12, 1972 – September 27, 2025
Clara Hass, 53, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 12, 1972, Clara spent her childhood exploring different parts of the country as her stepdad served in the military. Those experiences shaped her gentle spirit and deep compassion for others. She carried a quiet strength, a pure heart, and a kindness that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Clara was a devoted mother to her children, Jessica Relf and Tommy Anderson.
In 2008, while working at Walmart, Clara met the love of her life, Bryan. They were married on October 11, 2012, and together built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. They lived in Salem, Oregon for several years before settling in Washington, Utah.
Clara loved music—especially ’80s hair bands—and delighted in sharing that joy with those close to her. She also had a hidden passion for baking, especially wedding cakes, which she lovingly made for each of her siblings. More than anything, Clara treasured her family and the time she spent with them.
Clara is survived by her husband, Bryan Hass; her daughter, Jessica Relf, and son-in-law, Evan Relf; her son, Tommy Anderson; her stepson, Josh Hass, and daughter-in-law, Dakota; her stepdaughter, Cassidy Hass; her beloved grandsons, Leland, Jonah, Jasper, and Layne; her mother, Eva Hamm; her sisters, Dawn Waltemate, Cathy Plate, and Christina Medina; and her brothers, Rex Bushnell Jr. and William Hamm. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with the costs of laying Clara to rest and covering the medical expenses from her final days. For those who wish to contribute, your support is deeply appreciated.
Her pure heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared will live on forever in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
