I didn’t know mama for very long but I will always remember her huge smile and her blowing kisses at my daughter and I . Mama Jo always had a twinkle in her idea and I knew instinctively that she was a warm hearted lady full of wisdom and love . But that in self thought me a very valuable lesson that no matter what life throws at you , stay grateful , appreciative and live life to the fullest. I am going to really miss you and your warm hugs ! Sleep with Angels Aunty Clara!

Mama Clara and Isabel - cherished Mama Clara for her love and upbeat nature. She was so affectionate, smiley and loving. Will miss her asking for a kiss. Deeply sad to see her go. I comfort myself knowing she is now resting peacefully ❤️

My memory with Aunty Clara was sitting at apapa boat club and she would sing unchained Melody and amazing Grace. We would sing a duet together, her in English and me in Shona. That would keep us all night sitting in apapa boat club entertaining people. What a wonderful memory. She was my icon.
I have experienced too many to mention. As her nephew-in-law she was the first member of the extended Edewor family to welcome me into the family. My wife Juliana, who by the way regards her auntie as her best friend and confidant, took me to her residence in Lagos to introduce me. Immediately she saw me she whispered to Juliana within hearing distance of me ...YES....he is the one for you. Immediately I felt very comfortable with her and fell in love with her. She was always welcoming to me and was like a mother to me. I equally loved her dearly and looked forward to our visits to her residence in Lagos. I will miss her smile and elegant beauty. The world has missed a gem. Rest in peace with the angels in heaven. Victor IZEGBU

Mama was always a very warm, graceful, cheerful and kind mother and grandmother. Whilst she lived a great life, it is still sad to lose a parent at any age. I pray for the repose of her soul and also pray for the loved ones she left behind that the good Lord will grant them the strength and support to bear this loss. May mama’s soul rest peacefully with the angels. Amen
