Claire Isabel Sandow

Claire Sandow, 100, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce, Florida. She was the wife of the late Donald Sandow with whom she shared more than 60 years of marriage. They met at Prudential in Newark, New Jersey and married in 1943. Born in Irvington, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Isabel and Joseph Carter. After graduating from Irvington High School in Irvington, New Jersey, she worked as a receptionist at Prudential and a researcher at Burrells Press Clippings in Livingston, New Jersey and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Livingston.

Survivors: Son Kenneth Sandow and daughters Donna Lesh and her husband, Gary, and Debbie Valentine and her husband, Thomas. Granddaughters Tracy, Jessica and her husband Erwin, Sara, Zoe and her husband Bruce. Grandsons Brian, Ken and his wife Talisa, Thomas and his wife Laura, Samuel, and Harry and his wife Samantha, and Brett. Great-granddaughters Rayna, Eloise, Norah, Lucia, Shayla and her husband, Mark, Raylie, and Magnolia. Great-grandsons, Ethan, Rafe and his wife, Karlie, Christopher and his wife, Libby, Noah and John. Daughter-in laws Diane and Zoe.
