Claire had a sharing spirit and wanted to entertain others with her open heart, smile, and laughter. She managed her illness with a grateful presence for others to see.
Bob, Cal and family, you are in my heart. So sorry for the loss of this magical woman artist. I had the absolute pleasure of exhibiting Claire’s artworks at the Lyndon House, working with the Plein Air Art group and much more that made her part of the fabric of this arts community. Sending love. Didi
We have all lost a great friend. Claire was a wonderful artist, hostess, and, especially, a good friend to so many. We feel her loss deeply. It was Claire who introduced us to the Lunch Bunch. We met so many people through her.
Saddened to know a dear friend remembered as sitting by the poolside watching our children's swim lessons has breathed her last. The community will miss Claire. Deepest condolences to Bob, Cal, Megan & all fond of Claire.
My sincere condolences to Bob and the family. Sending love and comfort. Claire was an inspiration and a great teacher and leader. I was a student of Claire’s and Bob at UGA as an art Ed major and have enjoyed seeing them around the community for years and their artwork that is so much a part of the art and history of Athens and surrounding areas. Claire will be missed. Rest in peace dear lady.
I’m so sad. Our bright star whose energy and leadership lit the way has departed. Sending love and sympathy to Bob and the rest of the Clements family and the artists of Athens…
