Claire's "Beach House" made me think of Marie Kondo: It was so full to the brim that it might appear cluttered to someone who didn't understand, but everything in it sparked joy for Claire. She found joy everywhere.

Such an energetic and creative force - always an inspiration - honored to have been able to work with such a wonderful woman.

Dearest Claire,

What fun we had doing henna on your lovely bald head! You always brought joy to everything you did !

Here's an African blessing for you :  May the Gates of heaven be wide enough to welcome your loving spirit.

I will miss you.

Carol

I didn't know the "professional Claire." As I read the many memorials, I am in awe of all her accomplishments. I am so glad that she walked into my life as the beautiful, artistic soul that I came to know and love. And, of course, she was a soul that loved fashion. That's where we at Sound Styles came to await her arrival. She would walk through our door with such presence and flair and style.... saying "here I am." Then we would engage in stimulating conversation about most anything other than fashion. She gravitated to the items in the store that shouted "drama queen." And we loved showing them to her. Her wisdom, humor, everyday good sense, were thoughts to live by. Most fun? Well just showing her into a dressing room with lots of "dramatic selections" along with her great laugh to accessorize the outfit was the best of fun to any of us working that day. Dear Claire.... we will miss you always.
