Cindy's obituary

Cindy Lauraine Zirrillio, 63, gained her angel wings on January 7, 2023.

Cindy was born on May 12, 1959 in Longbeach, CA to the late Dewey James "Bud" Sly, Jr and Edith (Declue) Nowak.

She is survived by a lot of family, including: her son Craig Bernicky and his children Haley and Brady of Calwood and Devan Davis of Fulton, her daughter Lori (JB) Bernicky and her children Katie Bernicky and Scott Winingear of Calwood, 3 half-siblings; Lynn Sly, Judy(Steve) Sly Loth and Kathleen Pohl, her ex-husband and good friend Rick Nowak, good friend and lifeline at the end Zadie Young, many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her estranged husband.

Cindy loved spending time with her grandies; making cookies, cheering them on at school events and boring them with stories of days gone by. She could often be found cooking delicious meals or crafting with her friends at Oak Towers, cheering on her beloved Cardinals, yelling BINGO at the Bingo Hall, or teaching her granddaughters how to make crafts and cookies.

Memorial Services will be held at Broadway Christian Church in Columbia, MO, on January 28th. Visitation with the family is at 10 am followed by the service at 11 am.
