Cindy Barrett, a radiant warm woman. With her wit, strength, silliness, and intelligence, we are sad to say,  passed away on October 5, 2024. Born on March 12, 1953, Cindy lived a rich and full-hearted life that was deeply woven by the threads of family love, a strong sense of motherhood, and an unparalleled commitment to those in need.

Cindy is survived her family. Who cherished and admired her remarkable resilience and infectious spirit. Her family, among numerous others, will miss Cindy, but we are deeply thankful for the treasured memories and lessons she has left behind.

One of Cindy's most cherished life lessons was that "The grass grows where you water it." This statement continually resonated through her actions, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing her. Cindy nurtured her family, her friends, and her community with unconditional love and generosity, ensuring abundant growth around her.

One of Cindy's most profound life achievements was not just being a mother, but also housing thousands of foster children over the years. Her home was a sanctuary for the lost, the forlorn, and the less fortunate. She enveloped them all with motherly love, providing a strong foundation on which they could rebuild their lives.

As we remember Cindy, her legacy of kindness and generosity, echoed in the laughter and presence of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. It shines so brightly. Her love, like the sun, warmed everyone in its path, illuminating the way forward.

Cindy Barrett was truly a gift to this world, and although she will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. We are eternally grateful to have had Cindy in our lives, whose memory will continue to inspire and guide us in our respective journeys.
