Cindee's obituary

Cindee Elizabeth Roddick, 64 of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019.
Cindee was born in Evanston, Illinois on December 24, 1954, the daughter of Dr. John William Roddick and Corrine Roddick. She graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1979 with a degree in recreation where she pursued her career in the insurance industry.
Cindee was well known for the love she had for her family. She had so much enthusiasm for life and with her vibrant personality she became friends with everyone she came across.
As her children we remember her passion for adventure from whitewater rafting to skiing the slopes of Utah. She loved to try new things and explore new places. Cindee had a love for cooking. Her door was always open, as it was a joy for her to cook for her friends and family. Cindee had a great appreciation for music, her favorites we’re Carole King and relaxing to Sade.
Cindee had a great affection for animals, especially dogs, from her first dog Watson who went on many adventures with her, even attending class when she was in college if you can believe that, to the current dogs she loved Lucy and Annabelle. They both had such devotion and attachment to her.

Survivors : She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Steve Freeman, her daughters Jill Shaugerof Scottsdale (boyfriend, Josh), and Katy Dodgen ( spouse, Mike) of Scottsdale and grandchildren Kevin and Ryan, and son, Thomas Roddick of Cottonwood, as well as countless friends and extended family. Although Cindee is gone her loving and beautiful smile will always be remembered. Cindee Elizabeth Roddick, December 24, 1954 - March 3, 2019.
