Our sincere condolences to the family of our dear neighbour Christy who always had a smile and a happy greeting.

Christy Edwards, a devoted uncle and cherished member of my family, will be remembered for his generosity, humor, and the special bond he shared with my parents, who were far-flung from their relatives.

He took the trouble to travel to visit us whenever he travelled, and he did not let the diaspora hesitate his painful feet to visit us. He had a special way of making us part of his extended family, and we are thankful for that.

Our heartfelt condolence's to Christie Annan’s  Children and to his brother CyrilSwampillai and his wife Lalitha. May God bless his soul and welcome him to his Kingdom to enjoy eternal happiness.
Dear Cyril, Indri and families, Our Deepest Sympathies. May God Grant Christie eternal peace and comfort you all in your grieving. - James Alagaratnam and family

We were very sad to hear that Christy had passed away. We live at no1 and will always remember he would always stop  in his car for a chat.

My wife has an appointment at Bishopwood  on the 9th which clashes with your times. Can you tell us how long the service would last?

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of a true gentleman. Annan,, spoke , dressed n behaved like a distinguished gentleman and I always thought the world of him.

We, One Child Foundation was helped so much by is generosity . He helped us to build a hostel in Puthukudiyurippu (Srilanka) for 50 children n in so many other ways.

It was always a pleasure having him over at our home for dinner.

May God take good care of him n may he REST IN ETERNAL PEACE.

Unfortunately we are unable to attend the funeral as we are away in Srilanka.

Our sincerest & heartfelt condolences to all the Edwards family.

Marion & James Dastur (Neighbour)

We met Christy annan and Leela acca after Mum, Baba acca, and Dad, Eric, joined us in the UK in 1985. Christy always made sure to contact Mum whilst he was in the USA and she was always grateful for this.
When back in the UK he regularly kept in touch with Mum, calling every month, and when he visited would bring lunch to her flat to share with her.
His last call to her was last month to check in and see she was okay. We are incredibly sad to have lost such a kind hearted person. Mum will miss his calls. May his soul rest in peace.
Angela, Raj and Baba acca.
