Christopher's obituary
Christopher William Stout never met a stranger. He was kind, accepting, loving and witty beyond any normal standards. Indeed, Chris, to most, was far from normal. His personality could be described as charming, funny and magnetic. He could light up a room with his infectious smile and laughter. But most important of all, Chris was a child of God. Knowing that he believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we can rest assured that if we, too, know Jesus, we will sing His praises with Christopher one day in Heaven. Chris loved music and loved to sing. He would ask his mom to "take the harmony" when they sang together. Chris was a momma's boy through and through. The middle child, he was often referred to as the favorite (ask Paul & Carrie) and by far the most mischievous of the bunch. That being said he could find his way out of trouble just as easily as he could get into it. You couldn't help but love him and laugh with him no matter what was going on in life. He made the world a better place. A void has been left in our hearts that will never be able to be filled. That is just the effect Chris had on anyone who was blessed to know him.
Christopher William Stout was born in Bossier City, Louisiana on July 7, 1982. He left this world on June 28, 2024, in Alabaster, Alabama surrounded by his mother, sister and nephew. Those who went before him, his Papaw Amis Paul "Bob" Davis and Granny Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Thomas Davis, must have been just as surprised as we were when he made his way to them. Can't even imagine how excited his "bonus" brother Wyeth Dave "Beau" Wynn must have been when Chris walked up to him with his favorite famous line, "brothers don't shake hands, brothers gotta hug!" What a hug that must have been!
Left to cherish his memory are his mother Eve Ellen Davis Wynn and stepfather Roy Neal Wynn, Jr. along with his older brother Paul Everette Stout, "bonus" brother, William Brock Wynn, and younger sister Carrie Elizabeth Stout Gaffke. His baby boy, Everett Christopher "Peanut" Stout, who will forever wonder what his dad was like. We hope he remembers his laughter, his voice and he feels his love wrapped around him every day for the rest of his life.
Chris was a huge part in his nephew and nieces lives and loved them all like his own. His nephew, William Jackson Graham Frith and nieces Chloe Elizabeth Grace Frith, Stella Faith Duke & Willow Elena Hope Walker will always dream of more adventures with Uncle Chris, "Uncle Chrissy" and/or "Uncle Pawpaw." Christopher will also be missed by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Addiction stole Chris from us, we can't pretend that isn't part of his story. But the good thing about our stories is that there are so many chapters and so many scenes that just one part of the journey doesn't define our Christopher entirely. We will always wish we could have gotten through to Chris, but we have to remember our Father in Heaven knows our story long before it plays out. In the short time that Chris was here, he touched so many lives. It's our job to try to reach even more by telling Chris' story no matter how much we wish the ending was different.
Rest in peace, Christopher.
Rest in love, Bub.
Just rest, Chris.
We got it from here.
