This is a favorite photo of mine from Keith's 40th birthday. We played Deadbolt Mystery Society games all night and he didn't take these off of his head for the entire time.

I met Keith at The Hobby Shop in Wilson. When I decided to get back into reading comic books I quickly learned I was in the presence of an absolute expert. He suggested a few titles to get me back into that world and I never looked back. From that point anything he ever suggested was ALWAYS really good. He listened to my, my dislikes, and always matched me up with a great book. We became friends and actually worked for the same company but in different departments. He once gave me one of the greatest compliments I've ever received. He once asked me a question about Star Wars, as thats my thing. He said he knew if he ever needed to anything about Star Wars I was his go to Star Wars person. Coming from this savant of pop culture was quite an honor. I will miss that quiet, yet powerful voice, that deep knowledge of so many things, but most of all I miss my friend.
