Christopher Phillip Smerchynski, of Golden, British Columbia, passed away in July of 2021 after an unfortunate occurrence with his heart. 

Chris was born on December 18th to Nancy in Alberta, Canada. Chris's passion was in cooking. He took up cooking at a young age and continued pursuing that passion throughout his life. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing games with friends and family and just overall having a good time. Anyone who met Chris knew that he was a light-hearted kind spirit.
