Jill ,Brent and Dane we were sorry to hear of Chris’s passing. I’m Richard McCarthy a cousin. My parents were Aunt Gert Shannon McCarthy and Uncle Allan. I have nice memories of the Shannon’s when we were kids. Chris was a fun cousin, always happy and nice to all. Later we would bump into Chris and Jill up in ski country around the  No. Conway area. This would have been in the late 70’s. Growing up, we were together often. Our grandmother Mary Shannon lived with us, so cousins were always coming over. Susan was my age and we would hang out. I think of those times often as we get older. We live in Falmouth and if any Shannon is in the area in summer  you are always welcome at our home. Beach is 4 houses away.   Peace and love to all Rich and Ellen McCarthy

Hi Jill and Family:

I am very sorry to hear of his passing.  He was always a joy to run into.  (you are too, Jill)  His presence filled the room. He will be missed.  I hope that Sugarplum is rebuilt and moving forward.

My family has the honor of living in the house in Rochester that the Shannon’s built. We still have the images left behind of Mr. Shannon during the building of the home. We were so upset to hear of his passing. His life story is awesome.

My true condolences go out to the Shannon Family.  Chris, aka "Aquila", as my dad would call him when we entered the legion hall for a scout meeting, was and will always be remembered as the best of men.  He was not only a great father, husband, brother, son, neighbor, he is what we as men should aspire to be.  Chris was the happiest when he was with his family, and that speaks enough about the character and soul of who he was and is to all of us.  We all wish you eternal happiness and rest.

My heart and prayers are with you, Jill, and your whole family.  May you know the warmth of God's loving palm.  My love and condolences, Sandy Lessard
Chris was the rare person who even if you were already having a great day, like on July 4th, once you saw the mustache lift and the smile come he made the day even better. Loved his stories about the old Higgins garage and hydroplane adventures.
So sorry for your loss. He was a great man. May you find peace in the many happy memories ❤️

Chris and I worked together for over 10 years at Thompson Investment Casting. In those 10 or more years we became very close. Him listening to my life stories and sharing much of his. I feel I've known him my whole life. He was so easy to talk to. I will never forget my dear friend.

My condolences to Jill, Dane, Brent, your whole family and many of the close friends Chris had mentioned a time or 2.

Our family wheel has lost an important spoke.  Chris will be missed by our whole family as I think the wheel is going to have a hard time turning without him.  It won't be the same.  Chris always made us laugh with all his funny sayings and stories.  Rest in peace Chris.  We will always love you. Judie and Bob
