From Christopher's Mom:
Have had a very difficult week. Had a viewing on Monday with just 4 family members. It wasn't a regular viewing. Only a very few family could attend. That was very very hard. Thank you for being patient with me. Ordered the wooden urn box for ashes. Had it personalized. Still waiting on death certificate and permits to have the cremation. Once the ashes are returned to the funeral home I can schedule a service. It is a process that is taking longer than I had hoped. Thank you the memories and pictures many of you have posted. I appreciate all of them. I will try to update again soon when their is progress towards scheduling the service.

Thank you to all who have donated for arrangements for Chris Riggins, left stories and photos, have called or prayed for him. We now have raised enough to do a cremation and a service. His father and I have an appointment for today, October 27 to sign papers and a contract with Chapel of the Valley in Roseville California. I will keep you all posted when the service will be at the funeral home. We will also be doing a celebration of Christopher's life and what he meant to us in a month or so in Sheridan California.
