In loving memory of Christopher Shon Davis

~Obituary~

Christopher Shon Davis was born on July 11, 1973, in Shreveport, LA to the late Ruby L. Wright-Davis and John C. Davis. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Zion Baptist Church by Dr. Brady L. Blade Sr. where he continued his membership until his passing. Christopher is a graduate of the Class of 1993 Green Oaks High School where he was an active member of the marching and symphonic bands. He also attended Grambling State University where he was a member of the “World Famed Tiger Marching Band”. Chris became a member on April 14, 2006, as a mason with the Zion Hill Lodge #164 Shreveport, LA. He leaves to cherish his memory: Dad, John C. Davis of Shreveport Louisiana; two sisters, Patricia A. Davis-Davenport of Shreveport, LA, Deborah L. Davis-Scott of Houston, Texas; Two brothers, Anthony J. Davis, wife Pearly Davis of Houston, Texas; Johnathon M. Davis of Los Angeles, California; One uncle, Melvin G. Harris of Palmdale, California; three nephews, Marcus Davenport of Shreveport, Louisiana. Trumaine Scott of Houston, Texas, Keith Scott of New Orleans, Louisiana; One niece Melissa Davenport-Washington, husband Labertrine Washington of Shreveport, Louisiana; one great niece, six great nephews, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
