Chris's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher "Chris" Reynolds. Born on January 30, 1963, Chris lived a remarkable life until his untimely death on November 3, 2023.
Chris was born and raised in Seattle, WA, where he graduated high school in 1979. He was a man of intellect and passion, qualities evident to those who knew him. His thirst for knowledge was insatiable, always reading and seeking new ways to understand the world. An artist at heart, he had a knack for drawing that inspired many.
His life was enriched by his daughter, Jessica Crocker, who survives him. He was a loving grandfather, blessed with two grandchildren. Chris was predeceased by his mother, Judith Reynolds. His legacy continues to live on in his daughter, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Chris was an avid reader, with favorites including "Dune" and "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." He believed that any book could be a treasure as long as it was good. He enjoyed a good cup of coffee while delving into one of his favorite books or being engrossed in his drawings.
Moreover, Chris had a deep-seated concern for the homeless, a cause close to his heart. His empathy and care for others were manifestations of his compassionate personality.
Those who were privileged to know Chris knew him as an intellectual. His wisdom, captured in his belief in constant learning and exploration, was one of the many lessons he shared with his loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been created to support the expenses of Chris's cremation. Donations can be made at 'Please help with my father's cremation' at https://everloved.com/life-of….
Chris's life was a testament to resilience, self-discovery, and love for art. His memory will forever be cherished, and his absence deeply felt. May his soul rest in peace.
